US uses 4.0 (A=4.0, F=0.0). India uses 10.0 CGPA. Germany 1.0-5.0. UK uses degree classifications.
Conversion is approximate. Uses linear: 4.0 scale = GPAx25, 10.0 scale = CGPAx10. Check target institution for specific formulas.

4.0=100%, 3.5=87.5%, 3.0=75%, 2.0=50%
10.0 Scale: Percentage = CGPA x 10
9.5=95%, 8.0=80%, 7.0=70%

Tips
Approximate conversion. Different schools use different tables.
For grad school, use WES or ECE for official evaluations.
CBSE uses x9.5, not x10. CGPA 8.0 = 76%, not 80%.
4.0 ceiling: Both A+ and A = 4.0 on most scales.
